What is the Trezor® Wallet?
The Trezor® Wallet is a hardware wallet designed to store private keys offline, protecting cryptocurrencies from online threats. Built by SatoshiLabs, Trezor® devices keep secret keys inside a tamper-resistant device while letting you sign transactions securely. Use the official starter page to begin: trezor.io/start.
Getting started: Trezor® Suite & Bridge
Most users interact with their device using Trezor® Suite, the desktop and web application for managing coins, firmware updates and backups. Download and install via the official start page: trezor.io/start. If your computer needs the helper service, install Trezor® Bridge from trezor.io/bridge (see Trezor Bridge Download).
Logging in & common issues
Trezor® devices don’t use passwords stored online — instead you unlock the device and use the Suite to view accounts. Common search queries include “Trezor login”, “Trezor Wallet Login”, and “Trezor Login not working”. If you see connection errors like “Error Connecting Trezor Account” or “Trezor Suite App not Working”, first:
- Ensure the latest Trezor® Suite is installed from trezor.io/start.
- Install or reinstall Trezor® Bridge from trezor.io/bridge.
- Try a different USB cable/port and avoid USB hubs during troubleshooting.
- Check official support articles at trezor.io/support for device-specific steps.
Account recovery & 2FA
Trezor® uses a recovery seed (24 words by default) — keep it offline and secure. If you cannot login because the device is lost or damaged, restore your wallet on another Trezor® or compatible wallet using your recovery seed: this is the standard Trezor Account Recovery method. There is no central “2FA reset” because Trezor® relies on the seed; treat seed loss as the highest risk and follow official recovery guidance at Trezor Help Center.
Troubleshooting checklist
- If Trezor® Suite won't detect your device: reinstall Bridge, try a different cable, and ensure the device firmware is up to date.
- If you “Can't verify Trezor Wallet”: confirm you’re on the official site and your firmware prompt matches the Suite’s instructions.
- For persistent errors, consult the Trezor Help Center or reach out to official support channels.
